Sharni Vison, an Australian American actor and dancer, was born on July 22, 1983 in Sydney Australia. Her first acting role was in the year 201 when she was requested to be part of the Australian Soap show Home and Away where she was a minor character in two episodes. Because of her exceptional performance that she was given the chance to play one of the main roles. Though she was able to audition to play the part, she wasn't chosen. She was instead cast on the show as Cassie Turner, a young disturbed girl with foster parents. Both the critics and fans who watched the show have praised the character she played.
