Coleman is Lancashire-born. She was headgirl in the Arnold School, Blackpool and received straight A's in her A level. On the 21st March 2012, Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat confirmed at a press conference that Coleman will be playing his companion on Doctor Who alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose her for the role due to her being the most effective with Smith and spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her work within the entertainment industry since 1987 and has been involved in a variety of films and TV projects. It is true that she has made a bigger impact on TV projects than film. Of all the roles Eva has been in, the TV shows like Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which stand out. The latter gave Eva two nominations for an 'Emmy for Daytime. Additionally, she was able to show off her artistic side by performing music.
